Bench Press are a really tight, rhythmic band from Melbourne that can also have an explosive energy on stage. I wanted to capture the rigid movements and sounds but also the fluidity of which they run into each other. This combined with the title "Not The Past, Can't Be The Future" had me thinking about arrows running in and through each other. Sometimes joining as one and sometimes going off in different directions.
These ideas culminated in a video clip for the song "Respite" which I worked as creative director in conjunction with Chris Matthews from Defero Productions.
